It's great to draw parallels from people from other creative disciplines, especially such as Stones drummer Charlie Watts, who is always a joy to watch. He tells us here how he started out learning to play drums and his approach, which I can draw inspiration from as it's how I learnt my craft as well. By watching and emulating people better then me, you eventually forge your own path. I used to sit watching TV and Films a lot, copying and reworking, that's how I learnt how to shoot, edit and structure productions. Honestly, this is the best way to learn anything especially for creative skills and this is how I teach people to go about any kind of visual making. Also features a lush jazz version of "Miss You" from Stones backing singer Bernard Fowler. Happy Ruby Tuesday!
