Cornershop at LSFF screening

That's us on the screen!
Last night went down to the Roxy bar in Borough to see the Cornershop Music Video I DP'd on last year "Supercomputed" being screened and got an exclusive look at their new video. It played as part of the London Short Film Festival, night of 2 and a half hours of music videos! Quite an inspiring night of short form artistry exploring the vast creative possibilities that music videos can bring from simple concepts to fully blown short films. Am really hoping to produce more music videos this year, with a few in the Feburary pipeline, it's great to see that short form is alive and well!

A few honourable mentions here for some videos that I particularly liked a lot.

"Severed Dreams" - Ruarri Joseph / Dir. Ian Bucknole - Funny and emotive story about a boy who carries his robot friend into adulthood

"Golden Tree" - Martin Brooks / Dir. Ninian Doff - Really funny professional display of no handed bike moves

"Staring Out The Window" - Fulton Lights / Dir. Ninian Doff - Another one by the same director, involves a band of pigeons playing music in the park!

Jargon VA ft. Tinie Tempah / Dir. Ian Pons Jewell - Policeman goes on a rampage after taking some questionable substances. Very funny saucepan eyes

Young Souls / Dir. Dean Chalkley - The trailer is below as I can't embed the full video, but you can watch it here. Beautifully shot by photographer Dean Chalkley, and the music has inspired my Northern Soul Spotify playlist. Worth a watch
